Day 08. Perfume

Sorry, i didn't update yesterday, will just have to do it today!
So today is Perfume day. A lot of perfumes are too strong and give me quite a headache, i prefer fruitier lighter smelling perfumes and here are some of my favorites...

Im all for finding things cheaper at the same quality, but i'm afraid when it comes to perfume it cant be done. My favorite perfume is quite pricey. All of them are pricey but some are worse off that others. My 'every day' perfume is Fantasy by Britney Spears, i don't care for her singing but i do adore her perfume. I first got it when i was about 14 and thought it was lovely, luckily, it is now very affordable if you go places like TK Maxx. I always manage to find a nice perfume at a decent price. It comes in a sweet round, hot pink bottle with pretty little diamonds. It reminds me of something Jasmine from Aladdin would own. I use this everyday and by everyday i mean, in uni, at home, etc but i would wear something different going out for dinner, or a party etc.

I adore Vera Wangs perfumes, i have used a few of them but my favorite is Princess. Its beautiful smelling without being overpowering. I have a large bottle of it, its almost empty and i'm so sad :(  It would make a perfect gift for any girl. It is pricey but its wonderful. it is a sweet scent and comes in such an adorable bottle, the perfume itself is a beautiful lilac shade, fit for a princess!

My all time favorite perfume i recently heard has reached the end of the line, and sadly its not being made anymore, im heartbroken! It is called Lola and it is by Marc Jacobs. It is the most beautiful scent, every time i wear it i get asked what perfume im wearing. It still sells in stores until there is no more stock, i'm really hoping i get another bottle this Christmas, or i may stock up in the January sales! Go into a perfume shop ask to smell Lola by Marc Jacobs and you will know what im talking about. It is perfection in a scent!

I hope you enjoyed this post, what is your favorite perfumes? Do you like mine? Let know know!

Day 07. What i bought today.

This post is lucky, as i usually don't buy anything buy today i needed some things.
First off i needed i more face scrub as i have ran out of Ocean Salt by Lush
Click here to see my post about Ocean Salt by Lush
I had always had trouble with my blackheads and they never seem to budge no matter what product i use so i asked a Lush rep what i should do as i normally buy Ocean Salt and she recommended i try either Dark Angels or Coal Face. I decided to try Dark Angel and she gave me a sample in an itty bitty pot (i will write a review once ive tried it and if i decide whether to purchase it or not)

I then went to Boot's for Makeup wipes and as they had a deal of 3 packets for £5 i splurged!
I use Johnsons face care, makeup be gone for normal skin. I find a lot of other brands smart my skin, particular around the eyes but these ones don't.

The last thing i bought, i have never used but as i said i am in desperate need of finding something for my blackheads and so i bought Biore warming anti-blackhead cleanser. Apparently it heats the skin to open up the pores more to effectively remove the blackheads. I haven't tried it yet but i will definitely review it once i do. Lets hope it works!

And that is all i bought today! Have you used any of these products? Do you like them? What do you use for blackheads? Let me know what you love and loathe and feel free to recommend a post entry!

Day 06. Eye shadow Pallette's

If i was asked the question of what Eyeshadow Palettes i use a year ago i would have had to have said 'i dont have any' Before this year i used little rimmel trios of blacks or browns and that was it, they weren't very good  and so i decided to invest in decent ones.
I went on holiday to France with my friend and she had the Naked Palette by Urban Decay, i thought it was amazing and the quality was superb, on the plane they were selling the 'Naked 2' Palette which i would have bought apart from the fact the plan had sold out to my dismay (It was much cheaper on the plane!)  I searched around and found the Naked Palette that my friend had on Debenhams online sale and purchased it. It is my favorite palette. I use it every day, you can make a very natural eye or a glamorous night out eye all in the one palette, my only problem with it is it only has 2 matte shades, the rest are metallic, but i love them! It is out of my 'everyday price range' but i splurged adn im so glad my did, its my daily necessity.

I have another Urban Decay Palette which i adore called Mariposa. I love it and rarely every get to use it as the colours are more vibrant, its not browns and greys, but greens, purples etc. Its beautiful, i can be used to make a  casual eye but i usually use it for fancier occasions as it does take some time and effort (which i don't have at 8am) to get it right. I do adore this palette, the colours are rich and appear as vibrant on the skin as they do in the case. My only issue with Mariposa is the bloom case! The complete eejit   people in charge of designing the case really didn't take into account how bloomin hard it is to open!

To be honest, that's the only eyeshadow palettes i have, and to be even more honest, its the only ones i need! They are both expensive but quality really is amazing and i would buy these again.
Do you have either of these palettes? Do you use urban decay products? what do you think? what do you prefer? Let me know!

Day 5. Favorite Bath Product.

Not until about this time last year did i really first begin to become a 'bath person' and its thanks to my brother really as he got a lush box for Christmas and i fell in love. In the past year i've spent far too much money in lush and tried lots of their bath products but my favorite one i've bought quite a few times. My favorite is a bath melt called Ceridwen's Cauldron.

This melt is wrapped in a little pouch and tied with red ribbon. You drop it into the bath once you have run it and the magic begins. It slowly melts during your bath and with melting oozes beautiful scented oils into your bath to leave your skin feeling luxuriously soft and moisturised. It contains cocoa butter, walnut oil, daisy flower, elderflower, frankencense resinoid, lavender oil, sandal wood and many more beautiful ingredients.

Once this has all melted and gloriously wrapped itself around your skin you have a little pouch to look forward too. The pouch still contains oats and herbs and feels beautiful to wash your body with. What originally sold me on this product was the glorious smell when it begins to melt, the second was the oats and herbs in the pouch and the third was realizing how good my skin felt afterwards.

Lush have some great bath products and i love many of them, but this one has been my favorite since the beginning.

Have you used Ceridwens Cauldron? Do you love or loathe it?  Are you a lush fan? Let me know!
